The game's engine is built around THE 9 TRAITS, a straightforward approach to character abilities that determines the pool of six-sided dice you roll to overcome challenges. If you roll a 6, you succeed.

Character creation is flexible and open-ended. Our PATHS ensure every character feels unique and tailored to their player’s vision. After deciding where to begin, your character’s growth is in your hands.

This version of MUSE is presented in a printer-friendly format. The design is optimized for black-and-white printing to be light on your ink cartridges and use minimal pages.
